Learn more about the Arizona Talking Book Library at the Camp Verde Community Library on October 22.
The Arizona Talking Book Library serves Arizona residents who are unable to read standard print due to blindness or low vision and individuals who find it hard to hold or handle a print book or who have a perceptual or reading disability. Their staff provides assistance in selecting books for entertainment and information, audio books and magazines, movies with audio descriptions, and Braille books and magazines.
Learn if ATBL’s free services would be helpful to you or someone you know. Find out if someone you know who loved reading but now needs other formats. Learn more about the services and try a demo of the audio player.
The Arizona Talking Book Library is a part of the Arizona State Library Department of Archives and Public Records and serves as a Regional Library of the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled.
If you can't attend and want more information, an ATBL volunteer will be at the library on the first Thursday of the month at 2:00 starting November 7. For more information visit https://azlibrary.gov/talkingbooks or contact the Arizona Talking Books Library 800-255-5578, Telephone hours M-F; 8-4.
