Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting an Art Sampler class: Desert Scenes for Beginners on October 2, 2025, from 5:30-6:30PM. 

Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting an Art Sampler class: Shades & Shapes, Charcoal Still Life – November 6, 2025, from 5:30-6:30PM. 

Explore the art of charcoal drawing in our free Shades & Shapes Art Sampler workshop. This beginner-friendly class will guide you through capturing the depth, texture, and shadows of a still life using charcoal. All supplies are provided just come ready to experiment, get a little messy, and create your own bold, expressive artwork to take home.

 

This series is taught by Audrey Ashcraft, a local artist with experience working in many mediums.  Having grown up in a military family, she has traveled extensively, allowing her to learn about art and culture from many corners of the globe. Audrey is excited to share her passion for art with the community.
