Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting an Art Sampler class: Pencil & Charcoal Drawing on Thursday, February 6th, 2025, from 5:30-6:30 pm.
Discover the joy of drawing in our Beginner-Friendly Pencil & Charcoal Drawing Class! This class is designed for those new to art or looking to sharpen their skills, offering step-by-step guidance on fundamental techniques like shading, blending, creating texture, and mastering light and shadow.
Learn how to bring your ideas to life using pencil and charcoal in a supportive and relaxed environment. Whether you're a complete beginner or exploring drawing for the first time, this class is the perfect place to start your artistic journey. All materials will be provided—just bring your creativity and curiosity!
This series is taught by Audrey Ashcraft, a local artist with experience working in many mediums. Having grown up in a military family, she has traveled extensively, allowing her to learn about art and culture from many corners of the globe. Audrey is excited to share her passion for art with the community.
