Event Details
The Prescott Free Clinic is planning its first major fundraising event titled the Bunco Bash for Breast Care and it will take place on February 8, 2020 at the Prescott Resort and Conference Center. All proceeds from this event will go directly to providing breast cancer treatment services in Northern Arizona for low income, or uninsured patients.
The game of Bunco is fun, exciting, and easy to play! In addition to the game, there will be hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, a chocolate fountain, cash bar, photo booth, and plenty of raffle items and prizes to win!
Purchase tickets online via the EventBrite link or at any of our three locations: Prescott (1090 Commerce Drive), Prescott Valley (3212 North Windsong Drive, Second Floor), and Cottonwood (51 Brian Michelsen Parkway) or go to www.CHCY.org/Bunco. .
Since 2018, Prescott Free Clinic has been providing matching funds to the Treatment Link program, in collaboration with North Country HealthCare and Northern Arizona Healthcare Foundation, to sustain a comprehensive breast cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment program for low-income uninsured or underinsured individuals in northern Arizona.
Annually, at CHCY locations alone, the Treatment Link program enables the screening of more than 1,000 uninsured or underinsured low-income women. When any of these women are diagnosed with breast cancer, Treatment Link provides a lifeline by covering treatment costs. Treatment of one uninsured breast cancer patient typically costs $20,000 or more. Proceeds from the Bunco Bash for Breast Care will go directly toward sustaining this effort in the near future.
