Celebrate Arizona with AZ Highways

Join us for an Arizona Highways recognition competition.  Spring Valley Library is distinctive in a variety of ways and one of the most beautiful ways is with our collection of Arizona Highways magazines, stretching from 1946 to 2026.  That's 80 years of glorious photographs and informative articles about the greatest state in the USA.  Thanks to the Friends of the Library we will see who recognizes the most Places, Plants, People or Predators from this collection.  We will present 20 photos and the one with the highest percentage of correctly identifying the photos, will win.  We will award $20 for first place and $10 for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places.  The contest will run all day, all week so stop by and give it a shot.  You may win some cash in addition to winning for being a library program participant.
