Celebrating 80 Years of Smokey Bear

Come join us in celebrating Smokey the Bear’s 80^th Birthday at the Beaver Creek Library & the Start of our Smokey Bear Reading Challenge

We invite you and your family to join us at the Beaver Creek Public/School Library on October 4^th from 10:00am-12:00pm for a storytime, a visit and talk from the Copper Canyon Fire and Medical District’s fire marshal and a few of their firefighters, fun Smokey Bear activities, prizes and refreshments.

Come and take part in our Smokey Bear Reading Challenge from Oct 4^th-Nov 4^th to learn about wildfires, the environment and wildland fire careers. You’ll get to read books and earn badges.
