Event Details
Coffeehouse Concerts showcases local and regional talent with an emphasis on original music. The series features a variety of acoustic, contemporary, and traditional styles of music. This month, D-Squared brings love & light, foolishness & pain, the impossible beauty & burden of life – all woven together with deft harmonies, wry humor, and shining musicianship. And they do it all with a harp, a guitar, and two voices. It is a spacious, arid, distinctively southwestern sound.
Don Charles plays guitar, composes and sings unforgettable songs delivered in a rich baritone voice. Deb Gessner plays folk harp, sings beguilingly, and composes quirky, intimate vignettes and delightful instrumentals. D-Squared toured the continent for twenty years playing concerts, coffeehouses, and festivals. They have four CDs to their credit, had their music featured in film and television, and shared the stage with legends.
Coffeehouse Concerts are arranged and hosted by Jo Berger and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
