Coffeehouse Concerts showcases local and regional talent with an emphasis on original music. The series features a variety of acoustic, contemporary, and traditional styles of music. This month's concert features Annie Moscow and Vanessa Purdy.

Annie Moscow is a singer/songwriter, contemporary poet and modern day storyteller who brings a fresh perspective to subject matter not often sung about. Originally from Philadelphia, she began her music career as a classical pianist and then a songwriter. Since 2000, she has released six solo CDs, including “Passing Trains”, produced by Grammy nominated producer, the late John Jennings.

Vanessa Purdy has been a full-time AZ musician and studio backup singer in the greater PHX area for over four decades. She has performed at most of the top resorts in the Valley, and at Duck and Decanter from 1983-1999. An internationally acclaimed voice teacher, Vanessa specializes in vocal rehab and science-based vocal development.

Coffeehouse Concerts are arranged and hosted by Jo Berger and presented with funding from the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
