Program Description

Event Details

In every great story there are unforgettable characters. In this class you will discover how to build and bring to life vivid, complex, and memorable protagonists. We will perform written exercises to develop our character. We will learn how to use our own life experiences, and the people we know to bring characters to life. Join us on Wednesdays, May 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, 2023, from 11 am-1 pm. We will develop inner (thoughts and feelings) and outer (appearance, habits, behavior) lives for our characters and see how that can lead us to richer and more interesting stories. We will breathe life into our characters and let them surprise us.

Registration is for a 4-week class series.

Attendance is required for the first class. If you miss the first class, you will be removed from the class but are welcome to register for the next class series.
