A supporting character is a character who plays a role in the main character’s story Supporting characters can do things like add depth to your story, establish context for your world, help or hurt your main character on their journey, and make the story fun and interesting. Supporting characters can play many roles in a story, such as sidekicks, romantic interests, mentors, and confidants.  We will perform written exercises in order to develop several supporting characters.
