Program Description

Event Details

Insects, space exploration, and robotics, oh my! NASA engineers often get inspiration from insects and nature when building robots to go to extreme places, like outer space. You too can design and build a robotic insect for outer space exploration! Imagine what your robotic insect would need to survive in space, then design it to meet those needs. Geared for children, ages 6-12. All supplies will be provided. Register online, at the Youth Desk, or call 928.777.1537.   Prescott Public Library and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University have teamed up with NASA @ My Library to present school-age children with an opportunity to learn about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
