In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month. Camp Verde Community Library invites adults and families to come an learn about the history of "Ofrendas" (Altars) and learn to make the elements, and symbols necessary to make your own. Ofrendas hold the most meaning and are the reason for the holiday's celebration. Making "sugar skulls", and decorating candles will be the other two workshops offered. Culmination of the workshops will be held on the Dia de los Muertos Cultural Event, Sunday, November 5, 2023.
