How we read, write, and talk about the natural world (environmental literacy) determines our behavior in that world. This literacy can be particularly consequential for educators and parents who influence the behavior of current and future young people. This presentation asks us to assess our current environmental literacy and examine the unintended effects it may have on the natural world.
