Flora for Hikers: Conifers of Arizona

Hiking high in the Southwest usually involves hiking in the pines.  But can you identify these marvelous trees?  Some are edible, most are easily identified.  Familiarity with these species will enhance your outdoor experience in the high country.  Online sessions may be viewed to supplement your education on this important topic.  Additionally, I'll discuss an encounter with a bear since they too inhabit the mountains and canyons where you'll come across these trees.
