In this month's Focus on Photography presentation, Tom Bol offers key tips to elevate your photography, such as understanding light, mastering composition, the importance of knowing our gear, and shooting a scene from different perspectives. Tom will discuss the Creative Triangle, reviewing strengths and weaknesses, exploring creativity and he also touches on compositional tools, along with other ways to improve our images. Tom Bol is a renowned photographer whose career started with a degree in journalism. He has been shooting professionally for over 35 years for a variety of editorial, commercial and advertising clients. He is a regular contributor to numerous photography publications and focuses on adventure sports, portraits and travel. His commercial assignment work ranges from photographing advertising campaigns for Fortune 500 companies to creating content for worldwide tourism promotions. Tom and his wife Cree been teaching workshops and seminars since the beginning of his career and enjoys teaching photography as much as shooting assignments.
