| Gerri Jones will demonstrate her approach to photographing glassware using colorful backgrounds and reflections on a surface. This program will feature how to deal with both reflections and refractions, what kinds of backgrounds to use, and some technical points of shooting in the dark on a tripod for successful photographs with this technique.Gerri Jones enjoys all genres of photography and likes to experiment with different styles and techniques. She feels that experimentation and crossover into different types of photography can lead you to being more creative in all your photographic endeavors. Gerri started her journey with her camera in 2000 as a creative outlet. Gerri has been a featured speaker/instructor at regional camera conferences including Mike Moats Macro Conventions, Hazel Meredith's Creative Photography Conferences, New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) Photo Conference and Out of Chicago Conferences. Gerri is also an instructor in creative photography both in person and online and is an ambassador for Lensbaby products. Focus on Photography is a monthly photography lecture and workshop series arranged by and held in partnership with Yavapai Digital Arts and Photo Club. |
