Purpose of Meeting
The Foster Grandparent Program (FGP) connects adults 55+ with children (Pre-K to 12th grade) needing extra support, offering mentors, tutors, and role models in schools and centers, providing one-on-one help for academic, social, and emotional growth, with benefits like a small stipend for low-income seniors, insurance, and improved health for volunteers. Our monthly meeting is open to anyone 55+ who would be interested in learning about how to volunteer with youth in the Verde Valley Area.
