Prescott Valley Public Library will be offering an eight-session class and guided book discussion on The Boys in the Boat on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting on February 13th, @ 2:00-3:00 pm. in the PC Lab. This is a wonderful story of the University of Washington’s 1936 rowing team & their quest for an Olympic gold medal. These boys, the sons of loggers, shipyard workers, and farmers defeated their elite rivals first from eastern universities and then the German crew rowing for Adolf Hitler in the Olympic games in Berlin, 1936. Join PVPL for the eight-session class/discussion.
