Hassayampa Writers Group

We are a friendly, positive group whose goal is to become better writers - to improve our craft.  Writers at any stage from beginners to professional are all welcome.  
We commonly have new prompts each month which we use as a beginning for a short writing.  We read our writings (if you want) out loud to the group and will give constructive criticism if desired.  We also open the floor to any writer who wishes to share a current writing project, again with or without constructive criticism.  Often we will do a 7 or 8 minute "free write" which is also shared with the group.  We occasionally have guest speakers and participate in the "Double Take" event along with the photographers.
