Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting Health Talks: A Wellness and Prevention Series provided by Yavapai County Community Health Services on January 18th, 2024, from 5:00-6:45 pm. This month’s is Financial Wellness Month, and the new year is a great time to be informed and in control of your money and resources. Knowing where your money is going is a crucial first step in controlling your finances. Participants will learn the different types of expenses, budgeting basics, and how to develop their own personal budget.

Speaker: Matthew Long, Community Outreach Educator, will be presenting. Matthew is from Take Charge America, a Phoenix-based non-profit that focuses on providing the general public with free financial education. They offer counseling, resources, and knowledge that generate a profound ripple effect, improving financial wellbeing at the individual, household, and community levels.
