Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting Health Talks: A Wellness and Prevention Series provided by Yavapai County Community Health Services on November 16th, 2023, from 5:00-6:45 pm. This month’s presentation will focus on bullying and how it can negatively impact children’s social, emotional, physical, and psychological development, both in the short term and long term. This presentation will talk about how adults can help children navigate being bullied from identifying risk factors and red flags to how to build a supportive and trusting relationship with the children in your life.

Speaker: Cindy Garmen, a Health Educator with Yavapai County Community Health Services. Cindy teaches Bullying Prevention classes and Sex Education/Healthy Relationships classes in local schools. Cindy has over a decade of experience working with young people.
