The Ancient and Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus (ECV®) is a fraternal organization dedicated to the preservation of the heritage of the American West. There are currently over 50 chapters spread throughout California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and Wyoming.

After recently finding out that the Congress Community Center, where our original plaque was placed in 2012, is no longer standing, I knew that my chapter needed to remedy the situation and find it a new resting place.

Along with that, I was looking to have my chapter return to Congress to raise a new plaque to commemorate the SFP&P Railroad (The Peavine) and its historical significance to the 1890s mining days of Congress, AZ.

Our organization E Clampus Vitus Lost Dutchman Chapter 5917+4 would love to have as many of Congress’ citizens join us for the dedication of both plaques on that Saturday the Sept. 23rd at approximately 10:00am. The dedication is expected to take right around 30 minutes to complete
