Do you know what it means to be an ally? Have you ever wondered what you can do to become a better ally? Perhaps you'd like to develop the skills to support your friends in their allyships. At the LGBTQ+ peer allyship training, you will learn to do exactly that. This workshop intends to broaden your understanding of queer-related terminology, encourage you to expand your involvement in being an ally, and work through day-to-day scenarios where allies might be needed. This will be a safe space to ask questions and to learn about supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
Come join Sam at the LGBTQ+ peer allyship training on Monday, May 4th at 2pm. Sam is a senior at Prescott College and majoring in Gender and Sexuality studies. Sam is passionate about the LBGTQ+ community and looks forward to learning with you.
