Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting the pre-recorded Master Gardener: Arizona Bats presentation on April 12th, 2022 @ 4:00 pm.  Learn everything you wanted to know about bats including:

  • Bat Facts
  • Their benefits
  • What they eat
  • Where they live
  • Diseases they carry
  • Species of bats in Yavapai Co. and the Sonoran Dessert
  • Locations of large colonies

Pre-Recorded presentation by Laurin Pause

Laurin moved to Prescott Valley after retiring in 2014. She became a Master Gardener in 2019 and has served as the Speakers Bureau Chair for the past two years. She is an avid backyard gardener, applying the information gained to all aspects of caring for her yard and that of her community and promoting good stewardship of our environment. Her passion is to educate people in the art of growing and eating healthy foods.
