Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a program on Closing Down Your Garden in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners on Thursday, September 12th, 2024, from 5:30 to 6:45 pm. We are excited to welcome you to this class, where we will learn about closing down your garden and preparing for fall crops.

  • Updating your garden notebook
  • Clean Up-What it entails
  • Planting fall crops
  • Putting perennials to bed
  • What to cut back & when
  • Prepping soil for winter and next season

 

Presenter: Laurin Pause

Laurin became a Master Gardener in 2019 and has served as the Speakers Bureau Chair for the past two years. She is an avid backyard gardener, applying the information gained to all aspects of caring for her yard and that of her community and promoting good stewardship of our environment.
