Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting the pre-recorded Master Gardener: Roots, Tubers & Bulbs presentation on July 12th, 2022 @ 4:00 pm. Learn about growing garlic, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and Jerusalem artichokes. You will also learn about the following:

  • Garden Site Selection
  • Soil Preparation
  • Variety Selection
  • Planting, growing & harvesting
  • Tips on pests and diseases

Pre-Recorded presentation by Kathy Watts

Kathy Watts has lived and worked in the Verde Valley for over thirty years. Her professional background is rooted primarily in hospitality and the food and beverage industry. She has grown food in a variety of ways (indoors, grow bags, unconventional containers, sub-irrigated planters, raised beds and of course traditional in-ground gardens). She is a recent Master Gardener with Yavapai County Cooperative Extension and hopes to help you to achieve your gardening goals.
