Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting the pre-recorded Master Gardener: Seed Saving on October 11th, 2022 @ 4:00 pm.  Learn the basics on collecting, preparing, and storing seeds from your garden! You will also learn about the following:

 

  • How to choose what seed to save
  • How to pollinate and avoid “franken fruit”
  • How to collect and clean seeds
  • How to dry and store seeds
  • Saving flower seeds

Tricia Michelson Tricia is a diehard veggie gardener certified as a Master Gardener in 2013. Believing that gardening is a continual experiment, Tricia takes on new gardening challenges each year. Seed gathering and saving is a part of her growing processes. She grows vegetables inside her home as well as outside and loves sharing the joy of gardening through public speaking engagements throughout the county.
