Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting, Vermicomposting: The Wonderful World of Worms, in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners, on Thursday, October 12th, 2023, from 5:30-6:45 pm. We are excited to welcome you to this class. We will be discussing vermicomposting and how it is easy, good for your soil and ultimately good for your plants.

Come away with ideas on:

 

·         Why worms?

·         Vermiculture basics

·         Worm habitats

·         Using worm bi-products

 

Presenter: Tricia Michelson

Tricia is a diehard vegie gardener certified as a Master Gardener in 2013.  Believing that gardening is a continual experiment, Tricia takes on new gardening challenges each year. Vermicomposting was one such challenge that has turned into a permanent part of her growing processes.  She grows vegetables inside her home as well as outside and loves sharing the joy of gardening through public speaking engagements throughout the county
