Event Details

Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a program on Wildlife Damage Control, in partnership with Yavapai County Master Gardeners on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:45PM.

Join us for an engaging presentation on Wildlife Damage Control, where you'll gain a better understanding of the wildlife around you and how to live in balance with it. Learn what qualifies as wildlife, what animals need to thrive, and how to enhance your landscape without inviting unwanted damage. We’ll also explore practical strategies for dealing with wildlife responsibly and review the legal considerations you need to know. Whether you're a homeowner, gardener, or nature lover, this session will help you protect your space while respecting the natural world.

Presenter: Laurin Pause

Laurin became a Master Gardener in 2019 and has served as the Speakers Bureau Chair for the past two years. She is an avid backyard gardener, applying the information gained to all aspects of caring for her yard and that of her community and promoting good stewardship of our environment.
