National Friends of Libraries Week

The Clark Memorial Library will be spending the week of October 18-24, celebrating its Friends of the Library group as part of the annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week.

How important are Friends Groups?

They can literally make the difference between a budget cut and a budget increase for their libraries. For more than a century, Friends groups have been formed by citizens using their collective powers to ensure that American libraries remain viable.
