Event Details

Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting a program, Planning for Long-Term Care, as part of our Financial Literacy series on December 3rd, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Long-Term care involves a range of services that are designed help meet the health or personal care needs of an individual when they can no longer perform everyday activities on their own due to chronic illnesses or disability. Many people will find themselves in need of these services at some point in their life, especially as they age. In this presentation, you will learn what long-term care is, the annual cost and how to pay for this care, Medicaid, long-term care insurance, and more.
