The job of a gardener is simple - to understand what your plants need  and to give it to them. The Plant to Plate series led by Yavapai Master  Gardeners will give you the tools you need to get the best possible  results from your garden. Weeds are just plants growing in the wrong place, but they compete with your crops for sunlight, water, nutrients, and space to grow. Weeds can also bring pests and diseases. In this program, you will learn about weeding, identifying beneficial insects and how to attract them, and identifying common pests, including wildlife, and how to manage them through Integrated Pest Management (IPM).The Plant to Plate series is available thanks to a partnership with Yavapai Master Gardeners and Prescott Farmer's Market.
