Prescott Valley Public Library in partnership with Silverkite Community Art Classes presents Acrylic Painting: Loveable Lilacs, from 10:30-11:30AM on Saturday, April 4, 2026. This is a virtual, live online art class for adults. 

Join us for a free virtual acrylics workshop and bring blooming lilacs to life on canvas. In this engaging online class, you’ll explore layering, texture, composition, and expressive brushwork while learning techniques that add depth and movement to your painting. Whether you’re looking to grow your skills or simply enjoy a creative escape, this workshop is a fun and inspiring way to paint from the comfort of home.

Supplies: 

  • Canvas or Bristol board of any size - around 5x7 or 4x6 is usually great to finish in the workshop time
  • Acrylic paint
  • Palette (or palette paper or a plate)
  • Brushes (round and flat)
  • Cup of water
  • Paper towels
  • Pencil
  • Palette knife (optional)

*Note: I tend to use paper/canvas sizes that fit within my document camera frame, but participants are welcome to use any size.

Optional:

  • -Palette knife
