Prescott Valley Public Library, in partnership with SilverKite Community Art Classes: Paper Flowers, Saturday, May 1st, 2021 @ 1:30 pm. April showers bring May flowers - even if you do not have a garden! In this workshop you will learn some basic techniques to transform paper into a beautiful blossom.
Paper flowers can be as fancy or playful as your imagination and materials will allow. Here are some suggested supplies. See what you have around your house!
What you will need:
*An assortment of paper: construction paper, card stock, magazines, tissue paper, crepe paper, paper streamers, etc
*An assortment of adhesives: Tacky Glue or other craft glue, double stick tape, glue stick, hot glue or floral tape
*Stem materials: could include floral wire, sculpture wire, pipe cleaners, straws or sticks
*Scissors
*Something to score paper, it could be a bone folder, popsicle stick or a dried-out ballpoint pen
