Prescott Valley Public Library, in partnership with SilverKite Community Arts, is hosting 'Rock Painting', a live online class. This is not an in-person presentation - you watch it from the convenience of your own home.

Create a masterpiece on a piece of nature! During this workshop we’ll explore
various techniques participants can use to create images and patterns on rocks.

Facilitated by Nani Trias

What you'll need:

Rocks (collected from nature, washed and dried beforehand); 
Acrylic paint (red, blue, yellow, black, white)
Paint palette or white plate
acrylic paint pens (optional)
paint brushes (pointed round and flat end for detailing)
paper towels
cup of water
a flat surface to get paint on (newspaper, cardboard box, etc.)
permanent Markers, 
any items you'd like to use to decorate.
