Prescott Valley Public Library in partnership with Silverkite Community Art Classes presents Sip & Paint Acrylics Botanicals, from 10:30- 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. This is a virtual, live online art class for adults. 

Join us for a relaxing and creative sip-and-paint style workshop, where we’ll bring a garden full of your favorite botanical leaves to life using acrylic paints! Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, this online art class is designed to help you explore nature-inspired artwork. Grab your favorite drink, unwind, and let’s paint together in a fun and supportive atmosphere. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and love for nature!

Supplies:

  • Mixed media paper or canvas
  • Large flat brush
  • Medium flat brush
  • Small round brush and/or detail brush
  • Hair dryer/heat tool
  • Paper towels
  • Water
  • Palette for paint
  • Scrap paper
  • Masking tape
  • Fresh Leaf or leaves with good veins
  • Antique gold and white acrylic paint
  • Assortment of blues and purples acrylic paint (or colors of your choice)
  • Optional: iridescent topcoat acrylic paint
