Prescott Valley Public Library in partnership with Silverkite Community Art Classes presents Visual Journaling: Spring Things, from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 17th, 2025. This is a virtual, live online art class for adults.

Discover fresh, imaginative ways to celebrate spring in this hands-on visual journaling workshop! Explore themes of renewal, vibrant colors, and personal growth while experimenting with drawing, painting, and collage techniques. Whether you’re new to journaling or a seasoned artist, this session will spark your creativity and help you document the beauty of spring in your own unique style.

 

Supplies: 

  • A journal or sketchbook (any size, but preferably with thick paper suitable for paint)
  • Colored pencils, acrylic markers, or gel pens
  • Watercolors
  • Paint Brushes (for watercolor)
  • water in a cup and a paper towel 
  • Scissors and glue stick
  • Magazines, newspaper clippings, or decorative paper for collage
