Didgeridoo Down Under Virtual Workshop - All ages welcome! The didgeridoo is an Australian Aboriginal musical instrument with an otherworldly sound that’s as exotic as its name. In this interactive & hands-on 40 minute program, participants will learn how to play the "didge” with household items such as cardboard tubes*, pool noodles, or PVC pipes. Participants will…learn how to make animals sounds & create simple rhythms…learn the fundamental concepts of circular breathing…learn about Australia & Aboriginal culture…learn how to craft & paint their own didgeridoos* (on their own time)…experience a naturally exhilarating , buzzing sensation…partake in an uplifting jam session! *Ask at the library for a free cardboard tube if you don’t have one! (While supplies last)
