Event Details

Experiment with static electricity and find out why space scientists need to detect it. Then, take home a STEM kit with supplies and instructions to build your own working electroscope—an instrument used to detect an electrical charge. STEM Kits for Kids is geared for children in grades K-2. No registration required.  This summer, Prescott Public Library and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University's STEM Outreach are partnering to provide school age children with an opportunity to learn about STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with hands-on demonstrations and take-home STEM kits.
