Event Details

To celebrate Spring and planting season, the Prescott Valley Public Library Children's Department is offering Take & Make Sunflower Kits!

Kits will include:
-sunflower seeds
-1 terracotta pot & saucer
-soil & rocks for potting

Kits will be available for pickup between May 24th through May 28th during regular library hours. You can pick up your kits in the Children's Department or we can offer Curbside pick-up (more details to come later on regarding that option).  We will have everything prepared for you! Ms. Ashley will post a video tutorial on how to plant your sunflower seeds in her Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead series available through the Prescott Valley Public Library Youtube page by May 23rd.  (Check out her S.T.E.A.M. videos now in the meantime for some other fun ideas to do at home with your kiddos). Feel free to email Ms. Ashley at akastner@pvaz.net if you have any questions!
