DESCRIPTION: April is sexual assault awareness month, and the Start by Believing Campaign is a way we can all support survivors.  But believing is also a concept for each of us in our personal lives and can have a positive impact on our mental, emotional, and physical health.  This lecture will focus on the positive aspects of believing.   Belief in oneself, in our families, our work, and our future.  It has been said, “all things are possible to those who believe.” 

BIOGRAPHY: Jerald Monahan has served the public safety community for over four decades. He attended Grand Canyon University and received a master’s in leadership and a bachelor’s in public safety administration. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, the 230th Session. He is the Program Director for Administrative of Justice Studies at Yavapai College.
