Event Details
Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting writer in residence, Kim Tomsic. Join us for special Writer in Residence writing workshops from September through November.
Theme + Murky Middles, Endings, and Page Turns --- The final workshop focuses on mastering your story's core theme, navigating tricky middles, and crafting satisfying endings using proven strategies. If time allows, we'll also explore writing effective loglines. You'll create a second picture book dummy using templates from Debbie Ridpath Ohi's website. Bring your Collections Journal, pencils, notebook, two large-print (18 point) manuscript copies, scissors, and tape for hands-on dummy-making and a lively discussion.
Theme + Murky Middles, Endings, and Page Turns is the sixth and final in a series of Writer in Residence Workshops. This class is open to teens/adults.
