Event Details
Join Prescott Valley Public Library for a special creative writing workshop with award-winning author David Elliott as he teaches teens how to use poetry to tell a story. The workshop is on Thursday, May 6th at 12:30 PM. While the event is earlier in the day to accommodate a high school class, this writing workshop is also open to the public.
This virtual event is free, but seats are limited and registration is required. Once registered, you will receive the Zoom meeting link the day before the workshop.
David Elliott has written over 25 books for young people including the highly acclaimed Bull, Voices: The Final Hours of Joan of Arc, and his latest, The Seventh Raven. Voices: The Final Hours of Joan of Arc is the recipient of The Claudia Lewis Award for Best Poetry Book of the Year. His other awards include (but are not limited to):
