Learn how to take control of your financial future in this virtual session covering Financial Planning Basics. Topics include how to set S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) financial goals, the fundamentals of budgeting, an introduction to investing, insurance, and tax planning, strategies for saving for college, and strategies for retirement and estate planning.

Thom Rindahl is a financial educator in Tempe, AZ. Rindahl is a member of the Association of Financial Educators and regularly participates with various community organizations promoting financial literacy and has helped many families and business owners to navigate the twists and turns of life for over 20 years. 

The Association of Financial Educators is a nationwide 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational bureau comprised of financial professionals in dozens of fields including investing, estate planning, accounting, tax, real estate, law, and more. Members have a passion for education and share a common goal of empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge they need to take control of their own financial well-being.
