Fall 2025 Writer in Residence - Kim Tomsic
Published author Kim Tomsic is offering 30-minute virtual consultation sessions for aspiring writers. Book your appointment(s) now by registering for a timeslot. The appointments will be held on Zoom and a link will be provided before the consultation. 1-1 Consultations are open to teens and adults.
Kim's office hours are as follows:
- Thursday September 4, 18, 25, October 23, 30, and November 6
- NOTE: Kim is available for in-person consultations on the dates listed above. Please reach out if you would like to meet in-person.
- 9-11am and 2-4pm
- Thursday September 11, October 2, 9, and November 13

Kim Tomsic, Prescott Valley’s Writer-in-Residence, is an award winning author of children’s literature, an adjunct faculty creative writing professor with an MFA in Creative Writing, as well as an accomplished speaker, advisor, and mentor. Published works include: The Truth Aboout 5th Grade (2024), The Elephants Come Home (2021), The 12th Candle (2019), Guitar Hero (2019), and The 11:11 Wish (2018).
