Are you a caregiver for a family member or friend? Are you exhausted, overwhelmed, isolated and stressed? There are no magic answers but there is a supportive place to share thoughts and feelings with other caregivers.
Course Study
The Teen Game Room is open on Thursdays! Game Systems include Wii, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5. Plus, there are also a ton of board games to play as well. There is limited space for the video games. First come, first served.
Enjoy pizza and a movie (Peanut Butter Falcon, with Kevin Tent) after school thanks to the Friends of Spring Valley Library.
Children 6 and up can sign up to read to a therapy dog. This helps build confidence in reading. Registration required. Thursdays 3:30-4:30 pm.
Pokemon Club
Join a group of trainers every Thursday from 4:00pm-5:00pm to play Pokemon the card game and meet other fans of Pokemon for a variety of activities. This program is open to families and all ages.
Get one-to-one homework help for your child with the library's new Homework Help service for youth in grades K-8! Local high school student volunteers will be available for 30-minute appointments at 4. 4:30, and 5 pm. |
New for the 2024 season, GameNite will now have weekly themes! Taking place in the Teen Library on Thursdays from 4:00 – 7:00pm, teens can hang out and play games in the library with a rotating theme:
