Join us for "Tai Chi for Beginners" classes with a certified staff instructor and help improve your balance, relieve your pain, and build your confidence.
Benefits of Tai Chi:
Geared toward children ages 0-5. Come enjoy music, finger plays, dancing, a book, and cooperative play. This is a great program for little children and their caregiver. Tuesdays 10-11am.
Fun weekly-themed stories, songs/games, snack (& craft for big kids)! 10-10:30 is for 0-3yrs, 10:30-11:15 is for 3-10yrs.
Come to a book discussion every 6 weeks. Talk about a book we all read or discuss other similar books.
Medicare Educational Seminar
Join us every Tuesday, 10 am - 1 pm, at Mayer Public Library for an informal get together to work on new or old unfinished sewing or craft projects! Come stitch with us and unleash your creativity!
A volunteer will be hosting a Tai Chi program at the Cordes Lakes Library in our conference room. Participants will be following an instructor.
Come down to the YRCC every Tuesday for free blood pressure checks!
Paws for Friendship
Come read to a therapy dog at the library! Choose a book from our shelves or bring your own. For each dog you read to you will earn a sticker. Once you get to 4 stickers you can choose a free Early Reader book from prize box to keep!
BYOC: Bring Your Own Crafts at the Library! Calling all crafters!
Tai Chi for everyone
Hope Women's Center setting up weekly at the library on Tuesdays from 1-4 pm to offer their resources and classes to local women in need of their services.
Medicare seminar
Join high school students for Dungeons and Dragons after school. Snacks provided. Drop in.
Come build something fun with Legos and other kids! For all ages students, kids under 5 must be supervised by their parents. Free, Legos provided, leave your own Legos at home.
Educational Support Groups offered the 4th Tuesday of every month from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.
Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, & Trauma Healing
Summary of 3 rotating curriculums:
Conversational English for non-native English speakers. Taught by Camp Verde Adult Reading Program (CVARP) Volunteers.
Weekly on Tuesday.
