This week we will be focusing on the first chapter of Laura Ingalls Wilder's book The Farmer Boy.

Join us on the first and third Friday of every month for our hands-on Sewing Class! Whether you're a beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, we'll be using sewing machines to create fun and functional projects.

Come meet other parents and chat while your children play. This is intended for caregivers and their children ages 0-5.

Geared toward children ages 0-5. Come enjoy music, finger plays, dancing, a book, and cooperative play. This is a great program for little children and their caregiver. Tuesdays 10-11am.

Fun weekly-themed stories, songs/games, snack (& craft for big kids)! 10-10:30 is for 0-3yrs, 10:30-11:15 is for 3-10yrs.

Prescott Valley Public Library will be hosting Coffee with a Veteran on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 10AM-NOON. Coffee for Vets is an opportunity for Veterans to socialize, connect with the community, and learn about community resources.

 A group of high school students wrestle with their emotions after their gifted friend commits suicide.

Come for a special guest storytime to learn about Insects with stories, puppets, craft and snack! Perfect for Elementary/Preschool Kids. Free.

Families and children of all ages are welcome to join us for a storytime. We’ll have fun in an interactive environment, hear a story, learn early literacy skills, play, sing and dance. Saturdays 10-10:30am.

Join us every 1st and 3rd Saturday at 10 am in the Children's Program Room, 2nd floor. Reading to a dog is fun and relaxing and helps build reading confidence in children!

Come read to a therapy dog at the library! Choose a book from our shelves or bring your own. For each dog you read to you will earn a sticker. Once you get to 4 stickers you can choose a free Early Reader book from prize box to keep!

Kids and teens from ages 7-18 can come and learn how to draw from The Janimal, a real cartoon artist!

A representative from the Verde Valley Homeless Coalition will be here weekly on Tuesdays from 12-4:00 pm, providing a variety of resources for homeless members of our community.  Services offered include case management, counseling, employme

Join us every Friday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for a fun-filled Kids Club at the Ash Fork Library! Each week, we mix things up with a variety of activities including arts and crafts, painting, games, movies, and outdoor adventures at the park.

This kid’s gardening club will focus on gardening themed activities. Kid’s of all ages can come and learn about plants in a fun way.

We need painted rocks for our kindness rock garden!  Paint a rock, share it, put it in our garden or take it home!  Post a picture of it with @bccrocks.  

Come play or learn to play chess with others! All ages/skills welcome. Free. Chess sets provided or bring your own.

Kids of all ages can join us for a friendly game of chess. All skill levels welcome. Tuesday, August 12th from 3-5pm.

Come build something fun with Legos and other kids! For all ages students, kids under 5 must be supervised by their parents. Free, Legos provided, leave your own Legos at home.

Join us for some fun & games! Board games, cards and Legos will be provided, but you are also welcome to bring in your favorite game and share the fun with others. Friends of the Bagdad Library will have snacks for sale too!

Musicians Open Mic Night at the library!  Takes place weekly every Monday.  Coffee and water are available at no charge, attendees may bring cookies or other small snacks for a snack potluck.  

Music in the Stacks is a showcase of local and national musicians who entertain regularly in Northern Arizona. There are 3-5 different performers during the show, with a rotating variety each month.
