Are you looking for an engaging activity that the whole family will enjoy? Join us for a fun, interactive family storytime featuring Sabrina the Scarecrow! We will be sharing magic, music, stories, and games!

For kids who dream about opening their own business — or who have already taken that first step and want to keep learning — the Camp Verde Community Library (CVCL) will be hosting the Verde Valley Biz Kids Club for ages 7–12.

Let your creativity soar, brick by brick!  Join us every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month from 10am to noon for a fun, hands-on LEGO experience where imagination, engineering, and teamwork come together.

Come read to a therapy dog at the library! Choose a book from our shelves or bring your own. For each dog you read to you will earn a sticker. Once you get to 4 stickers you can choose a free Early Reader book from prize box to keep!

Join us every Friday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for a fun-filled Kids Club at the Ash Fork Library! Each week, we mix things up with a variety of activities including arts and crafts, painting, games, movies, and outdoor adventures at the park.

Free hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math fun!

STEAM projects for kids in grades 1-8

Takes place every Friday in the STEAM trailer when weather permits, otherwise inside the library. 

Tweens and teens ages 9 - 18 are invited to join Sedona cartoon artist Jan Marc Quisumbing, “The Janimal”, for a fun and interactive class on the basics of cartooning and drawing.

Pre-registration is required.

Children ages 8 and up can join us for a fun activity. Changes weekly. Wednesdays 1:15-2 pm. Today we will be painting with magnets!

Children 6 and up can sign up to read to a therapy dog. This helps build confidence in reading. Registration required. Fridays 1:00-2:00pm.

Come build and create with fun gadgets, robots, building sets and more! Also each month we will explore a science experiment and/or art project. Free, for school age students.

Celebrate Harry Potter Book Day at the library. The Magical Day is actually on the 12th, but we'll have fun on the 11th!  Fly in to watch Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, color, craft and munch!

Come play or learn to play chess with others! All ages/skills welcome. Free. Chess sets provided or bring your own.

Children ages 8-12 are welcome to come and learn social emotional skills through games and hands-on activities.

Come build something fun with Legos and other kids! For all ages students, kids under 5 must be supervised by their parents. Free, Legos provided, leave your own Legos at home.

PVPL Tween Club is just for tweens age 9 - 12 to meet up, hang out, and enjoy spending time with other tweens. Activities will vary so drop in and see what we have in store for you today!

Join us at the Beaver Creek Library for our 8-week coding and robotics program on Thursday afternoons from October 2 through November 20. 

Children 6 and up can sign up to read to a therapy dog. This helps build confidence in reading. Registration required. Thursdays 3:30-4:30 pm.

Home for New Beginnings is a local non-profit whose goal is to build homes for children in the Verde Valley.

Families are invited to an afterschool program for children and families to come learn about Mexico's Dia de los Muertos holiday while making fun crafts.
