 te detail and metaphor to reveal deeper truths. Whether beginning a memoir
  or refining a draft, attendees will gain practical tools to tell their st
 ories with clarity and impact.  Joann Ashlock has a BA degree in English 
 from Washington State University, a Masters in Education from the Univers
 ity of Miami, and a Masters of Arts in English Literature from Gonzaga Un
 iversity.  Joann has taught Memoir Writing in the Olli Program at Yavapai
  College since 2018 and was awarded Master Facilitator in 2024.  Prescott
  Writers is hosted by Central Arizona Writers and presented with funding f
 rom the Friends of the Prescott Public Library.
